Aesthetic Edge has an on-site Facial Plastic Surgeon, Keith Marcus, M.D. who performs cosmetic procedures such as laser skin resurfacing and injectable treatments. Dr. Marcus offers each client a complimentary consultation for all procedures, including facial plastic surgery. Aesthetic Edge also provides complimentary consultations with the on-site Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Michael Fulbright for an overall cosmetic treatment plan. Aesthetic Edge is unique to many medical spas by having an on-site award winning facial plastic surgeon performing the injectable procedures and laser treatments over a RN since there is a better knowledge of the facial anatomy. Botox is injected into specific areas of the face to relax the facial muscles eliminating wrinkles and frown lines. Juvederm, the dermal filler composed of hyaluronic acid is injected under the skin to fill in folds and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and nasolabial folds and into the lips. Aesthetic Edge offers many treatment options for laser skin resurfacing, including Fraxel Laser Treatments and ActiveFX and DeepFX Fractional Laser Resurfacing. Dr. Marcus determines which laser is best suited for each individual. The Fraxel Laser treatment is safe and non-invasive utilizing a fractionated erbium beam that results in smoother skin in 3-5 treatments. The ActiveFX and DeepFX Fractional Laser treatment uses the Ultra Pulse Encore Laser, a fractionated CO2 laser that improves skin tone and texture and treats scars and wrinkles in one treatment. Additional non-ablative laser options include IPL Photofacial Treatments and Vein Laser Treatments. Dr. Marcus uses the Lumenis One technology to treat brown and red spots from sun damage and redness from veins. The intense pulsed light targets small red veins and deep blue veins. For unwanted hair, Aesthetic Edge offers the state-of-the-art Lumenis Light Sheer Laser for Laser Hair Removal. Every treatment begins with a consultation with Dr. Marcus to determine a treatment plan that is tailored to each client. At Aesthetic Edge, Medical Esthetician, Ronni Chislom corroborates with Dr. Marcus on treatments such as micro-dermabrasion, chemical peels, facials, milia extraction and waxing.
